Kanye x Adidas Yeezy’s are BACK in business!

YE (Formally known as Kanye West) and Adidas have reached an agreement, Adidas will be back selling Yeezys in 2023!

If you have been living under a rock the past 4 months, let me put you up to speed.

In October 2022, A disgruntled Ye went to social media to let us know he was unhappy with Adidas & wanted to re-negotiate his current contract OR Walk away from adidas completely.

After a very public dispute with Adidas Vice President Daniel Cherry & additional comments made by YE. Adidas terminated their partnership with immediate effect on October 25 2022

Adidas and every retailer in the world who stocked Yeezys were forced to remove any unsold YEEZY products and return back to manufacturer.

MONEY TALKS

BUT as we know, money talks. At the time (October 2022) it was reported by adidas that dropping Kanye would result in a $250 million loss in profit.

Shortly after Adidas revealed they are left with at least $530 million worth of unsold Yeezys and were left scrambling for ways to get the product back on shelf without Kanye West's Yeezy branding in order to cash in on that potential revenue & prevent irreparable damage to the business.

Back in business?!

I guess Kanye was right, according to Adidas financial guidance they are on course to lose $1.3 BILLION in sales due to not being able to sell the Yeezy branding.

FEBRUARY 24 2023

Adidas have reached an agreement with Kanye (YE) West to start selling Yeezy branded products again.

This means we will 100% be getting all the already produced Yeezys we saw leaked from last year.

Depending on the agreement made we could be treated to new design Yeezys this year but this is just all speculation at the moment.
