Sneaker Culture & Weed

Believe it or not sneaker culture & marijuana go together like Salt & Pepper, Rick & Morty, Xavi & Iniesta. This isn't just me making things up either, a lot of the big dogs in the sneaker industry have marijuana themed creps some even releasing exclusively on "4/20"

For those who don't know, 4/20 is a international cultural holiday which happens every year on the 20th of April (4/20 american calendar format) where people gather to celebrate cannabis. Many such events have a political nature to them, advocating the liberalization and legalization of cannabis.

Nike SB Dunk 'White Widow'

Cannabis culture and skate culture have been doing collaborations for the past decade (Nike SB, Vans etc) one of the most memorial ones being the 'White Widow'.

These Dunks emulate the famous weed strain with its use of shaggy suede throughout with a white mint colour on the upper half of trainer.

Fast forward to 2020 and we have two releases coming, with the purple haze being limited to only 420 Pairs! Each pair being numbered.

The strawberry cough features red leather on the front half of the trainer and green suede across the back. We're not quite sure when in 2020 they will be releasing so be sure to follow us on @crepsondemand for all the updates.

Other brands such as Adidas and Rebook have all paid homage to the plant with various releases.

Sneaker culture & weed have their fair share of similarities from their expensiveness to the vast amount of variety there is always something there for everybody you just got to find what you like.

Some people like regular degular creps (and weed) while others need that top tier which usually isn't cheap unless your plugged in.

Whatever it is that floats your boat, just be responsible & Happy 4/20.
