TOP 5: Jordan 1's of 2019

Air Jordan 1's have been around since 1984 and I am sure sneaker heads across the world have been wearing them ever since.

Over here in the UK, the culture was a little bit different as traditionally we never grew up on basketball. Where I'm from the mandem didn't 'want to be like Mike' so Jordan's wasn't necessarily the 'in ting' for the masses.

Fast-forward to 2019 and Jordan's, in particular Jordan 1's are very much in fashion with 2019 being a big year for Jordan 1's releases. So with all that being said lets get straight into it with Creps On Demand's Top 5 Jordan 1's of 2019

"Neutral Grey"

The first Jordan 1's of 2019 and it was a strong contender, holding it's weight throughout the year to find itself 5th in our Top 5 list. For me it's the suede finish, it drew me immediately and when I got them in hand I wasn't left disappointed.

You have to respect it as well because this is a brand new colour-way, the only downside is you got to keep these suede fresh!

"Panda's"

These are a remixed version of their original Jordan 1 counter part from back in the day. At first glance you might not think these are anything special but when you get them in hand you see why they are levels.

Nicknamed 'Panda' due to it's black & white colour-way Nike used textured fur style (Pony hair's) on the black parts of the Crep, These were released as a women's exclusive

"SB LA to Chicago"

The SB LA to Chicago's was one of the most anticipated drops of 2019. Not only was it hyped because of the Lakers colour-way but in case you didn't know this Crep was designed with wear away paint!

Which essentially means the more you wear them, the more the paint wears away on the outside to eventually reveal another colour-way. The concept is very wavy and both colour-ways bang.

"Satin Toe's"

Another Women's exclusive. When the Satin Toe's first dropped I wasn't too keen on the leather x satin combination being used. It defiantly grew on me, a common colour-way particularly this year with Jordan 1's but none of those releases have been able to execute it with such finesse like the Satin Toes.

"Blue Chill"

The UNC Patent's aka Blue Chills are one of the best Jordan 1's to ever release. No real surprise that these are another women's exclusive, the best Jordan 1's have been women's exclusive in recent years. You can never go wrong with the blue/black/white colour-way especially if it's coming with that high glossy finish that we are used to seeing with patent leather.

2019 was a good year for Jordan 1's with a lot of wavy Creps dropping throughout the year, so much so that we had to include some honorable mentions.

"Turbo Green"

The suede & leather combination is just a wavy look on Jordan 1's with the two tone 'Turbo Green' which looks more like turquoise, and the white colour-way just gives it that clean premium look.

"Fearless"

I think, with these Jordan's you either love them or you hate them, given that they're in our honorable mentions you already know which side of the fence we sit on. The Air Jordan 1 Fearless are meant to be a combination of two previous Creps (UNC + Chicago) merged into one, they look wavy in person and defiantly one of the standout Jordan 1's of 2019.
